Welcome to PDFnestify (pdfnestify.com). By accessing or using our website and its suite of browser-based PDF utilities (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

  1. Description of Service

    1. PDFnestify provides 100% browser-based PDF manipulation tools, including but not limited to merging, splitting, compressing, and converting PDF documents.

    2. Local Processing. All core operations and file processing run locally on your device via client-side JavaScript engines. No file data is transmitted to any server at any point during your session.

    3. No Server Uploads. Your documents and files are never uploaded, transmitted, or saved to our hosting servers or any remote database. We are architecturally incapable of receiving or accessing your files.

  2. File Size and Fair Use Limits

    1. To ensure optimal client-side performance and platform stability across all devices, the Service enforces a maximum file size restriction of 25 MB per file. This limit exists to guarantee smooth in-browser processing on all devices, including mobile.

    2. You agree not to bypass, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent these processing thresholds or any security mechanisms embedded within our client-side code. Violations may result in your access to the Service being restricted.

  3. User Data & Document Ownership

    1. Your Files Stay Yours. PDFnestify does not claim any ownership, intellectual property rights, or copyright over the files you process through our tools. You retain full ownership of all your documents at all times.

    2. Zero Storage. Because files are processed entirely within your local browser viewport session, we do not store, log, review, or have any access to the content of your documents. Once your browser session ends, all file data is cleared from memory automatically.

    3. Your Responsibility. You are solely responsible for saving and maintaining your own output files. We recommend always keeping a backup of your original files before processing.

  4. Third-Party Advertisements & Cookie Disclosure

    1. To keep our tools 100% free for everyone, PDFnestify displays third-party advertisements served by networks such as Google AdSense.

    2. Interest-Based Advertising. These third-party vendors use tracking technologies, including cookies (such as the DART cookie), to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites across the internet. This data collection is governed solely by their own privacy policies.

    3. User Choice. You can opt out of personalised advertising by managing your preferences via our on-site Cookie Consent Banner or by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

    4. PDFnestify itself does not use first-party cookies for tracking or storing user data.

  5. Prohibited Uses

    1. You agree to use PDFnestify only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using the Service to manipulate, generate, or distribute documents that:

      1. Infringe upon the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of others;

      2. Contain malicious software, viruses, or code designed to disrupt browser environments or other computer systems;

      3. Violate local, national, or international laws and regulations, including but not limited to data protection and privacy law; or

      4. Attempt to bypass or circumvent file size restrictions, processing limits, or any security mechanisms embedded in our client-side code.

    2. We reserve the right to restrict access to the Service for any user we reasonably believe is in violation of these Terms.

  6. Disclaimer of Warranties

    1. PDFnestify is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

    2. While we strive to provide highly accurate and reliable local tools — such as our compression algorithms and formatting engines — we do not guarantee that the Service will be completely error-free or uninterrupted, or that output files will meet your specific technical requirements. You use the tools at your own risk.

  7. Limitation of Liability

    1. In no event shall PDFnestify, its owners, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use our tools, including but not limited to data loss, corrupted documents, or system downtime.

    2. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability — whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — even if PDFnestify has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

  8. Changes to These Terms

    1. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any modifications will become effective immediately upon being posted to this page. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the date of the most recent revision.

    2. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
